Friday's Daily Thread

Good morning!!! Cloudy and humid again here today. Dominik was up at 6.30 but beetled off downstairs with his lego and let me sleep until 8 . . . little angel

Ken's gone to the Goodwood Festival of Speed today. I'm a bit jealous, but I know I wouldn't have the energy for a whole day of traipsing. Still - in the 15 years I've known him this is the 1st time ever he's gone for a day out with a friend so I think I'll just have to let him off!!

Today I will be running into town to pay some business cheques in, taking Darcy to the vet for a check up and contemplating a new washer dryer as I think our one has reached the end of it's natural - still nearly 9 1/2 years isn't bad going!!

Hope all are OK after yesterday's rather surreal goings on . . .

Re: Friday's Daily Thread

To the allotment today - first time since Tues. Will be good to take me way from MIL .... things are a little 'taut', (but polite). Not a lot of news really. Looking forward to returning to routine end of next week.
Hope everyone has a pleasant and peaceful day

Re: Friday's Daily Thread

It's FRIDAY

I have had an incredibly wearing couple of months at work preparing for my boss to go off on sabbatical for two months - he's the owner and CEO of the company I work for - I'm his PA and also manage the family charity he founded - 2 jobs in 1! He went off on Tuesday and the dust is beginning to settle - which means I might have time to post more, instead of just reading

Must get the camera recharged and remind everyone who my beautiful girls are...

Morning all, overcast and refreshingly cooler here this morning. Have to nip to the bank at some point this morning and have an appointment with the horsey vet this afternoon to discuss Bootsy.

Hope you all have a lovely day and that it's a more settled day on Catpages

Re: Friday's Daily Thread

PK whats wrong with Bootsy? Nothing serious I hope.

Another quiet day today. With all the good weather I over did it in the washing dept. Had 3 hours of ironing last night Then I could hardly move
A bit more supple this morning though
Getting my tortoise later on today

Oh one of Darrlye's frogs went "walk about" jumped on him while he was in bed this morning so its back safe and sound

Gordon has asked for a referral to the liver specialist in Edinburgh. Lets hope they can send his files through safley.
On for a wee while. Have a good one everyone.

It's just his old arthritic problems Jac, we have managed to find a new farrier who has met with the vet to look at Bootsy's xrays and discuss options. The vet is just putting us in the picture of what the options are. Fingers crossed they have some solutions.

Enjoy your new tortoise Jac...any names yet?
