Tom has been here a year

WEll, it was a year last Sat, but couldn't get on!! He is still looking for a home - I knew he was going to be a long termer, but didn't expect quite so long, and I have failed in my mission to find him a home before he had been here a year. he is quite happy here (well, except for wehn I wont let him pinch people's food and one of the girls spits at him), but I dont want to keep him, as I have had to step in at least once a day since last weekend cos of him trying to have a go at various neighbours cats. Plus his scavenging!! On a positive side, he weighed 8.96kg when he came last year, he is now 7.17. Here are some before and after pics
Taken when he had been here a month (only pic in teh same position)

Taken last weekend

Re: Tom has been here a year

I do too!! My neighbour is still convinced he will be with me the rest of his life, but I really hope he isn't!! I know it sounds awful, but every day I either have to constantly check my neighbours door before I can let him out, or end up separating him from picking on someone, and it can get a bit frustrating!! Plus his scavenging can be a prob, constantly having to think about where you put things down to stop him getting at them. And he is 13, so realistically could have a few years left - I did initially say when I got him that I didn't think he would with his weight, but he has lost quite a bit, and doesn't look too bad at just over 7kg, as he does have a big build anyway.
