Definitely noticed it kazz, but try not to think about it. When I work nights I start at 10pm, a few weeks ago it was just about light while I was driving to work, now it is dark, and it gets lighter later, about 5am as opposed to 4am. |

I've only just come on here tonight and was just saying to my OH how dark it is now and it had only just turned 9.00pm I think we can say the nice light nights are almost over for another year........ |

I've been very aware of it; we've lost 17 minutes of daylight already! All downhill now until the Winter solstice...drat!! Wish we'd stay on Daylight Saving all year.... |

It's scary isn't it? Really hit us coming back from Sweden .. extra 'European hour' anyway, plus being further north - we didn't see any real darkness whilst we were away .... and now it's dark at 9pm and much more dull (and cooler) in the mornings. Ho hum (but I wouldn't like to live on the equator and have it light, like a switch going on at 6am and dark, like a light going off at 6pm every bloomin' day of the year. How boring would that be? |
