I've been mulling this over as I fixed dinner: here goes! Books: Bartlett's Quotations, The Home Medical Encyclopedia, The New York Times Book of Crosswords. Songs: 1) Lola, 2) Hotel California, 3) The Gambler, 4) Leaving on a Jet Plane, 5) Alices Restaurant, 6) This Land is Your Land, 7) Stewball, Lily, Rosemary and the Jack of Hearts, 9) Bach-Eine Kleine Nachtmusik, 10) Bach-Goldberg Variations. Luxury item: my memory foam mattress and pillow. (Giving away my age a bit with these songs-lol!) |

Will work on this at the allotment today and get back to you. Remember a happy evening in the cabin in the Adirondacks with our Canadian friends (who arrive here Thursday) doing the same thing ... don't think i reached any conclusion there either Would have to include tracks by Sinatra, Paul Simon, Carly Simon, Van Morrison, Beatles, Leonard Cohen (recent, not miserable historic), Ella Fitzgerald - but which tracks? And which books? EEK! The bed as a luxury is a good idea though - seems like we all enjoy our beauty sleep! |
