Cerne Giant

I promise this is the last of the ancient pics I shall inflict on you. This isn't very good but it made me smile. It must be from about 1973/4. Do you like the fashion? - and the kids today think they invented flares!

Anyway, my friend Liz and I on the Cerne Giant! Can you see where we are standing ?

Re: Cerne Giant

Blimey - good job it wasn't windy up there . . . you two would've taken off with those bell-bottoms

I have to say, flares have passed me by largely; too young to wear them 1st time round and too old this time (although I do have some bootleg trousers . . . ) Punk-inspired drainpipes for me . . . shame I no longer have the legs for them though

And yes - I can see what you're standing on too - you cheeky little minxes

Gosh, yes, you're right, I think everything was brown then. That may be why I get so depressed when I see brown things on the racks in the shops (and orange too now I come to think of it) they remind me of what I wore 30 odd years ago and I realise just how ancient I have become!
