Moli's acting odd

Over the past month or so I've noticed that Moli cat seems to be putting an awful lot of weight on. I haven't been feeding her extra so thought that mybe someone else has been feeding her. I also noticed that she's starting to get more aggressive (aggressive maybe too strong a word but couldn't think of any other way to describe it) She isn't as friendly as she was and is quite reluctant for any of us to pet her

This morning she lashed out at me, scrammed me and bit me. The bite didn't puncture my skin but the scram went quite deep and drew blood.

Could there be an underlying problem there, that's why she's putting weight on and starting to act a bit aggressive?

I must point out that all this started before we got any of the other cats.

I think I would let the vet check this one out, as if she has something wrong in her tummy she might be grumpy and in pain and maybe that is why she lashed out at you.

I hope she's ok. Like theothers have suggested I would get her looked at at the vets. I take it she's spayed.

Oh yesssss she's been spayed. She was done in February.

I'll book an appointment with the vets and see if they can see her ASAP

I hope Moli's OK, Nae . . . as you say, any kind of temperament change can be a sign of illness - fingers crossed that she's just feeling a bit crabby and that's all!
