Poorly Dinah

Dinah has finally shaken off her kennel cough (end of last week) so, to celebrate ( ) her boss took her for a short walk and run in the field on Sunday afternoon. She chased her stick into the long wild grass, took a little longer than usual to emerge and came out limping! She has been lame on her front foot since and is obviouly pretty miserable.
Got an appoinment for last evening and the vet thinks she has 'something' (bramble etc) in her outside toe. It may just be a break but the area is a tiny bit red and he doesn't think she reacts enough to gentle manipulation for it to be broken.
So, she had jabs of anti-inflammatory and antibiotic and starts a 5 day course of metacam and synulox this evening.
Poor girl, she's still very down; it's odd having a staffie that just wants to lie in bed all day.
