I used one of those toothbrushes with the bendy end! Alternatively you can buy bottle cleaners from good pet shops. Its comes of much easier if you use bleach, strong solution, with water, leave in the bottle, shake it and it will remove most of it for you without trying. Be sure to wash the bottle out well though. Dawn. |

You can also get these things called 'magic balls' which are good for washing out all hard to reach things (vases, decanters, narrow-necked bottles etc). Essentially it's about 100 small (I think copper) ball bearings which you swish around and they pick up all the debris collected on the inside of a glass item. They can be washed and reused. From memory they cost me about £3.99 for the little jar. Can get from most department stores/cookshops now. |
