It's Friday!!! ThreadAnother week gone and I am counting the days tll school opens!!!! Kids go back Tuesday  Not much planned today - impossible to plan when your son gets out of bed anywhere between 11am and 4pm  Looks overcast and chilly this morning, but it is early! Have a good day everyone.

My pair go back on Monday. This year's school holidays have just flown by. It's dull and overcast here at the moment but we've been forecast nice weather for this afternoon and rain all weekend. There goes our day trip to see Thomas the Tank on Sunday  Off out later with the kids to get pencils and pencil cases for them. Have a good day all! |

Morning! Dull and warm here and nothing very much planned. Maybe spend a little more time here - seem to have been under time pressure recently. Hope everyone has a good day. Make the most of it, a wet weekend forecast .... but - summer to return next week! Hurrah (but shame for the kids back at school) |

It's bright and sunny here today, despite forecast for torrential rain yesterday. Rain should be here tomorrow instead!!! Mum's staying another day just to keep junior in check for me. We'll be heading off to some park or other during today so Domi can run off some of his energy  Domi's back to school next Wendesday; but Donna - I can't wait until he's a teenager and sleeps in . . . I'd rather have problems planning a day due to a sleeping son than peeling my eyes open a 6am and watching some brain-dead cartoon |

I'm sure you lot are tired of me moaning about the dry August and everything drying up: well, I moan no more...the remnants of Ernesto, downgraded from a hurricane to a tropical depression are here: light rain this morning so I was able to get to the bank and market; now the rain is torrential with heavy winds and forecast to be like this till the wee hours tonight! Only 64 degrees; closed all the windows & porch door. Leia wanted out on the porch, took one look, came in & decided to nap the afternoon away! End of meterological report from this side of the pond!! Enjoy the weekend, all! |
