Very pleased this week!

I know I don't know you all that well but I am feeling so proud of myself this week, after a bad year with many marital issues and ill health, this week (since Friday) has been so good.

I went for an interview and instead of falling to bits like I usually do, I went in and stormed the place down LOL must of been the power suit I had on haha. And despite the fact they had another 3 days of interviews, I got called that very day and offered the job!!!

Then today, I get my resukts of my first 2 assignments (I am studying Animal care, health and behaviour) and I got A grades and told my work was excellent....

Not bad for me who already feels like an old lady with no life at the grand old age of 25 LOL

Re: Very pleased this week!

LOL...
ok, well I am a trained nursery nurse and used to work with terminal ill children for the NHS UNTIL I went on maternity leave, and after 3 years of service to them, they changed my job and hours and I left

So, I have been working in boarding kennels/cattery which I love and am really going to miss but me new job is a new project working with 3 young people with learning disabilities and mobily problems who have just moved into a specially adapted house away form their parents hehehe and they will be having 24 hours supprt and care... I will be one of the lucky people helping them learn to live indepedantly!

I start 9th October as I have to give 4 week notice of this job..

I have 2 passions in life with regards to work, animals and caring.... once I have completed my animal care course I would like to train in rodentology and maybe work in a vets LOL... or do that as well as caring. I dont know haha

I am only 25 so plenty of time to achieve my goals I think?
