Trapping a Cat...


You all know Chancers story, well, we have another stray going about, this one is completely ginger, he is entire as well..The CPL woman wants me to trap him, to get him to the vets to be neutered..Problem is, he is not a friendly boy, as soon as he see's me, he is of, and he bashes poor chancer too...Anyone any tips on Cat trapping??

Have you been feeding him? Maybe moving the food closer and closer to the trap, something nice and smelly like pilchards, then getting him to eat IN the trap a few times ...then bang the door shut??!!

I can only suggest pilchards, sardines, roast chicken, stilton etc

My Mau loves Ham, but I know I shouldnt give it to her, she waits by the fridge x

I would go with the stinky cheese idea or pilchards x

Try anything Moli, I wouldnt trap him to start with though, make sure the cage is kept open to gain his trust, if it backfires first time, you may never get him. Good luck.
