To those of you with dogs and catsCan I ask how does your cat react when your dog licks them? Cleo is totally flabergasted and walks off in a huff and spends the rest of the day/night cleaning herself with indignation in her every action. Karen

I have 1 dog and 3 cats, 7 yr old male - runs away 2 yr old female - fights back 5 month male kitten LOVES IT!!!!! |

Chester doesn't like it at all and just gets out of the way - quick! Bentley loves it, loves having his ear snuffled/sucked into Dinah's maw  , rolls onto his back and accepts, er, intimate washing ....... then can't help himself and it degenerates into a cat and dog fight - he goes at D with all 5 weapons - 4 feet + teeth. No claws though.  Dinah tries to avoid him, like a boxer skipping round the ring. She gives up first.Mini? Staffie licking a Siamese? Don't be silly! |

Breeze eats them!! Wiggy, Schnapps and now Moose, just lie there! Its Scooter here that licks everything, I think its a "ginger" thing cos Moose licks everything too! Scooter will wash dogs and cats for hours. Dawn. |

mine dont seem to mind infact i think they enjoy it but clyde (dog)knows when they`ve had enough it then turns into a restle and clyde reverse`s onto them so he does`nt get his face scratched  but all quite harmless |

Mine either avoid the possibility or the love it. No pics of Fluke my Lurcher [ yes thats right - a Lurcher happily living with nine mogs  ], doing it to Baby Ashleigh yet but I will get some. Ashleigh is blind and always gets lots of her food on her face and Fluke very kindly helps her groom by licking it off. She appreciates the help and definately enjoys it because he is very very gentle with her  This is Cheyenne waiting for more from Fluke - was a hard pic to take as Fluke [ very tall Lurcher ] was upside down on my lap while I was sat at the PC on a swivel chair so I had to support all of him one handed and hold the camera away to get the shot - I was gutted that I didnt get him actually slurping her face cos its really cute and she head butts him for more  You can just make out on her head, the dark strip and the gingery strip below it, which was the line he flattened on that session  And the other way around, this is Baby Ashleigh grooming collie Willows ears [ she was standing on his head with her front feet at the time  ] And grooming his rump for him  |
