Well I've done it

I contacted Gwent South CP last night about becoming a fosterer for them and I had a reply back from the Branch Manger saying that she was going to pass my details onto the co-ordinator. Either of them will be contacting me. If the branch manager contacts me then it won't be till begining of October as she's off on hols.

I know I've only had the one litter of kittens in to get ready to rehome but I know if I had the support of those who do foster local to me I'd feel better.

Fingers crossed for me guy's

That's wonderful news Nae.....good for you!! I'm sure you will find it a very rewarding job......and you'll get to cuddle lots of kitties!

Knowing you will have someone behind you to offer support will take a lot of the pressure off you too.....well done!!

Nae - that's wonderful news !! It's such a rewarding a fulfilling thing to do. Not to say there is no heartache involved, parting with the kitties is always sad.

I'm sure you'll make a fantastic fosterer and be a huge asset to your CP branch!!

That is realy good - and it takes off so much of the pressure wrt rehoming. You will have plenty to do with the practical aspects of feeding and cudling them.
