Funny story about cat litter

Well tonight I was in Asda and picked up my cat litter "catsan" when a chap in his 50's and kinda chubby came round the corner of the aisle and said "Good you're here" I went to walk on but he said "No you" so I stopped. "I have had a cat living in my garden" he said "and she has had kittens 2" he carried on and I was listening now "anyhow I thought she'd move on and she has straight into the house with the kittens following" At this I smiled and said "how nice" he raisedhis eyebrows and continued "anyhow the kittens are about 10 weeks now, and I've had Sheba spayed" on noticing my smile he said "well we couldn't keep calling Pusspuss, people would think I was soft. Anyway we've had Sheba spayed and I need to know what sort of cat litter is best because she needs to be kept in, but she doesn't seem to want to use it I think its the litter"

I said "which have you tried" he pointed to almost everyhting on the shelf, I said and she hasn't used any of them. "No he said" I said had she gone out at all "No he said she's locked in the conservatory we're using the front door." I frowned and said "how long since she was spayed" I was obviously concerned. "this afternoon he said" I almost laughed but didn't. "don't worry girl" he said "I haven't been taking the cat trays up I have left them all down in case she gets caught short"

At this his wife came round the aisle and said "you ain't buying another bag of cat litter - honestly poor Sheba is surronded by litter trays as it is poor girl, Lord knows what you'll do when the kittens are done."

I said are you having them done before they go. The woman and man both looked shocked and said "let Sheba's babies go never, they'll be done and live with us they are called hustle and bustle."

They walked off at this point and the chap was still looking back longingly toward the cat litter bags. I thought on the way home what a lucky litttle cat finding such a loving and doting home even if she is surronded by cat litter trays when she wakes up.

That's a lovely story! Must say I was wondering how it was going to turn out when I was half way through!
It's amazing the number of cats that chose their owner rather than vice versa...... I think they do it a bit like dowsing for water - cat people send out the right vibes!
I wouldn't be the least bit suprised if that's how you can your next feline(s) Kazz, when the time comes. What cat in its right mind wouldn't want to live with you?

Great story - thanks for posting

Yes I hope so too DM save me making any descisions.

But living on a reasonably newish estate we don't get many stray cats I know all the cats that live locally even the travelling Tom's have homes. And the gardens aren't big enough to have a family of cats living in them not enough open/waste ground or even derelict buildings.

And do you know I amnot sure I would want a cat in its right mind but maybe one who see's life from a different feline perspective to the average would be my choice.

And have you all noticed how I have been "accosted" yet again by another loony.
