I prefer males, but only because I had them first I spose, certainly now wouldnt mind either. Dont think neutering makes any difference to either sex, except I do like the recovery rate of a Tom Cat, like 10 minutes! Dawn. |

I have had both a male and female at different times, both neutered. I wouldn't mind either again as they both have their own unique little ways. I would say that, with me, Sam was outgoing, king of his patch, ginger Tom who was a real cuddlebug indoors whereas Cassie is timid and 'ladylike' but still as loveable. I don't think neutering makes a lot of difference to either sex.... |

Well Timmy is really our first tom cat, he will be done as soon as he's old enough. So far I haven't seen a difference in the girls to Timmy but when he get's older I'll let you know |

Over the years, I've had 4 males and 3 females, all neutered. Generalizing, the males were slightly more affectionate, the females quieter and less likely to get into mischief. But it was really more of individual personality than sex. |
