After more trouble with the car yesterday I didnt get to ring and book my two in.....really silly question time here.....are they chopped right off? x |

Yes and no. To be quite cool and technical, a slit is made in the scrotal sac, the testis is popped out, the tubes and blood vessels are cut and sealed and that's it. No stitches - it's just a tiny slit so it's left to heal. So, the sac remains but doesn't hang empty - it sort of 'springs back' to the body. That sounds gruesome but it's really very simple - remember farm animals don't even have an anaesthetic - general or local . |
