Helping with the laundry

Chester thought it would be a good idea if he kept the laundry basket warm whilst the washing was in the machine

I was a little disappointed with the pic - he looked much sweeter than that in life but of course didn't stay still for the pics. That was the only half decent shot I got.

He did move so as to give me this accidental shot, which he'll be able to look at to remember the old days, after he loses his plums on Friday

What a lovely expression Chester has in the first pic DM! He has certainly grown into a handsome boy!

Re: Helping with the laundry

Yes and no.
To be quite cool and technical, a slit is made in the scrotal sac, the testis is popped out, the tubes and blood vessels are cut and sealed and that's it. No stitches - it's just a tiny slit so it's left to heal.
So, the sac remains but doesn't hang empty - it sort of 'springs back' to the body.
That sounds gruesome but it's really very simple - remember farm animals don't even have an anaesthetic - general or local .
