Massive moggy

I read this story in the news today.......what a whopper!

Timmy, the black and white pussy only eats a can of cat food a day but still weighs a whopping 10kg (22lb) - which is about the same as a two-year-old child.
Timmy, who was adopted from an animal shelter, has always been large and is simply "big-boned".
His owner said it was hard for Timmy to make friends: "He doesn't have any other animal friends - I think they're scared of him." Awwwwww

Re: Massive moggy

I hope he's been checked at the vets for health problems....he looks very alert & healthy but that's very heavy for a cat.....

Re: Massive moggy

OMG he must be related to the Diva! She weighs in at a steady 6 Kilos. I try to be very strict with her food and weigh everything, very graually reducing the amounts but she is still massive.
That cat is a beauty and I hope its in good health, it certainly looks good.

Re: Massive moggy

Sasha is nearly as big as him!! She doesn't eat that much, well no more than my other 3 and they are definitely not overweight. However, she is very lazy. I suppose cats are the same as us humans, some are more prone to being overweight than others! He is a beauty though and does look very healthy.
