Whats an acer? I assume you are all talking about the little red tree in the front of the picture. I love gardens but havent a bloody clue about them or plants. Your garden is lovely Kazz, My cats would love some of those bushes to hide under. |

Made a change to the gravel today. Added some sun loving perenials and lifted the gravel rinsed it all through and replaced the black "weedblock" stuff underneath, and relaid the slabs. As they say a change is as good as a rest. |

I have a green acer (disectum) in a wooden half barrel, been there for years and I have to admit I do neglect it rather, but I have tried twice with the purple one in an ordinary pot and they both died, I think it is mainly just getting the watering right. I have two acer negundo in pots and they are OK but they are getting too big and will have to be planted out. But where to put them ????? Logoes |
