Daily Shred - Thursday

Lovely day here, after an 'iffy' start and one monster downpour.
Waiting for my siter to arrive, with her dog Jeff.

We're off for the long woods walk, followed by dogs kip and sisters pub lunch! Speak later!

Washed and dried (in the tumble dryer) 3 loads of washing today, bought hubby a new t-shirt to go away and now that it's nearly time to go and collect the kids from school, it's raining

Rottie is Nell. She's my sisters too, but is getting on a bit for long walks.
We had a good time and missed out on the rain - hurrah. Mounds of food at the pub, so they've gone off happy, with 15 rooted strawberry plants and 4 globe artichoke plantlets!

Re: Daily Shred - Thursday

A long walk and a pub lunch (followed by a kip). Sounds like heaven!!

Intermittent rain here . . . had fridge freezer repair man in. He sucked his teeth and suggested defrosting the whole unit (it's frost free ) for 2 days. Yeah, like that's possible with 2 little ones Anyways, the top 25% is defrosting again so I guess I'll have to get him out and MAKE him fix it

Had our Rubinia (sp) cut down yesterday . . . and the additional light in the front garden, and into the front rooms is amazing. I hate cutting down trees but this makes the world of difference and I'm glad we did it.

Must go and get a new DVD player tomorrow. Our £25.00 jobbie which has lasted 2 years has conked out and as tomorrow bodes rainy and next week is 1/2 term, I suppose I ought to get one so Dominik has something to watch. They've come down in price too so looks like I'll be getting a £20 jobbie this time round

Re: Daily Shred - Thursday

Hi everybody,

Well had a good day at work, I slapped my boss in the face!!!!! but it was all part of a presentation we were doing so I won't get the sack!! lol

Still trying to recover from this lurgy, another member of staff was off ill today, and my OH stayed at home as he wasn't very well.

I am really looking forward to the weekend although I have a feeling the OH will still be unwell, but I have loads of work to catch up on.

Summer yesterday, November weather today! Cloudy, overcast & chilly. The usual marketing, pulled loads of weeds from one of the borders...where do they come from so fast? Just had my grocery delivery...love ordering all the heavy stuff on line so I don't have to carry it home uphill 14 blocks!! Just chillin' now; have a nice evening, all!
