Struggling

The clocks went back, what 2 weeks ago nearly? and I'm still getting up at what would be 5-5:30am

The kids have adjusted no prblem but me......not a chance. I'm in bed by 9pm most nights, drop off about 10:30 but still get up at anywhere between 4-4:30am. This is driving me nuts yet I don't feel really tired

Re: Struggling

Maybe try to go to bed a bit later? 9pm seems a bit early for bed (although I could sleep by that time!!). Go to bed at 10pm and sleep by 11.30????

Just a thought!

Re: Struggling

I'll try going to bed later tonight and see what happens. Getting up at 4 am does have it's advantages tho....most of my housework is done by then and the only thing left to do when I get home from dropping the kids off at achool is putting the cleaner round

Re: Struggling

Treat yourself Nae - get up at 5 and make yourself a cuppa and take it back to bed. You may find you can get your head down for another hour.

Re: Struggling

DMs suggestion sounds like a good one.

I haven't been affected by the clock change but it does affect me in the summer for some reason it takes me awhile to adjust then

Re: Struggling

I don't have a sleeping problem, but I do have an appetite one! My stomach runs on daylight time for about a week; I am ravenously hungry by the time I eat...an hour late, by stomach time!......
