Morning everyone. Not too bad a morning here. Had a meeting with the school nurse this morning about my Hayley. She has made another appointment with me for just over a weeks time to fill in a referral form to have her assessed by the childrens mental health team. At least I know the next step with her now, and that we aren't banging our heads of a brick wall. Waiting on my niece arriving from Scotland later, batten down the hatches, hurricane Ruth is approaching, lol!. Wish me luck. I might be on here an awful lot over the next few weeks (nothing new there then)! |

Nae - thought of you as I woke at 3.30 and couldn't get back to sleep. Got up to make a milky drink @ 4.45 and wondered if you were doing the same! Finally dropped off about 5.45 I think, and slept till 8.30 - 'rah! Mags - Brown trout for Sunday, lamb and cranberry sausages, merguez (spicy lamb sausages -sort of North African), local goat cheese, sticky ginger cake, locally made/mixed meusli, bread, spiced pear and fig chutney. Mmm, mmm. Went for coffee and was seduced by wonderful bread and butter pudding! It looked great in the showcase so I asked for a piece, never thinking that what i would get appeared to be one whole slice of bread wide and long, by four slices deep .......... plus thick cream . No lunch for me today! Alex - have fun with your neice (and it's prob time for a Teddie-poo bulletin ). When Mini was ill I started a new thread with a smilie instead of a frownie when she was getting better. Everyone - have a good day. It's Friday! |

Well I went to work this morning and then off to London in the afternoon to meet the OH and a dear friend who we hadn't seen for a few years, have a nice lunch and then went for a bar for a few drinks, God the prices of drinks in London are shocking, vodka and coke was about £5!!!! We were taking the mickey out of the drinks menu as they had a bottle of champagne for £1,000!!!!! |
