My MIL's school is now a museum! She attended Scotland Street school in Glasgow and it is has now been converted to one of those museums where you can see teachers and pupils dressed up and re-enacting lessons. How old would that make you feel. |

My high school was closed and sold to a nearby university to be used as student dorms about 10 years ago. Makes me sad everytime the bus passes it...all those memories! We wore navy blue skirts (had to pass the below-the-knee test ...woe be unto you if you knelt down and the skirt didn't touch the ground!) and light blue blouses and navy blazers. This was a Catholic girls prep school; the nuns were strict but you got a excellet education! |
