Well done! I think there are so few people who bake, or make jam, or knit etc etc that there's a real appetite for those items at craft fairs. A really good amount though and it sounds a good charity (but I always thought that, when I turned up and exchanged my 500gm of blood for a cuppa and a biscuit that the Transfusion Service did everything else necesary in terms of storage and transport? ) |

thank you Mags and Dm. I think in normal case they do DM, but where freewheelers come in (in my understanding) is that when there is an urgent need ie hospital have run out of a certain blood type, then being on motorcycles they can transport it much faster than a van can in case of traffic build up. |
