Daily thread - Saturday

What a miserable day!

I envy those of you going to the NEC - a bit of brightness among the pounding rain and Styggian gloom. My OH is even wondering if his rugby match will still be on this pm and my daughter is going to Twickenham, which sounds a bit soggy.
I won't even mention the cricket ..........
Think it will be very quiet here today, so I'll get on with my book!
Hope everyone has a good one, whatever they are doing

Miserable wet day here too

Have been out shopping, had a quick tidy round and plan to start C/Cake No. 2 after lunch.

Cassie seems unusually quiet this morning ..... she ate her breakfast alright so maybe it's because she can't go out in the rain. I'll be keeping my eye on her anyway......

Enjoy your day everyone!

Re: Daily thread - Saturday

Hope everyone is having a great time at the cat show I really do and sorry for not making it.

Well I have just dragged myself out of bed, slept right through from last night now feel tried again, maybe too much sleep - plan on doing nothing today apart from maybe topping the bird feeders up as George Henry loves is dish being topped up with the meal worms.

Have plans to clear my head tomorrow by taking the girls a nice walk but I'll wrap up nicely.

Feel a bit bad about being sent home from work - I hate loosing time and letting people down so I just rang in to assure them I will be back Monday (its my weekend off) but was told in no uncertain terms I come to work lpoorly I will be sent home again - so may apply makeup before going to to work but should feel loads better.

Hope you all have a good day, and those at the show enjoy it and Luke leaves something behind in the shops. And I won't mention the cricket either -

Karen

Glad you made it through the night Kazz - take care .... you'll have Cleo organising for the doctor to come and have a look at you!
Sounds like you need a week off.
Weather is better now - the sun is shining - hurrah!

Looks as if the nasty weather has moved across the Pond...lovely here for a change: 61F and lots of sun! Changed books at the library & did some yard work (leaves!) before lunch; just putzing around; friend coming for drinks this afternoon so will be off Catsey for a while. Onyx was back so had a nice warm lunch. Hope weather clears up and that everyone has a pleasant Sunday!
