So proudWe had a letter arrive in the post today from the "young writers" saying that Lucys school had entered some poems in a competition & Lucys has been shortlisted with a chance to win a cash prize. Her poem is about a crab & is going to be published in a book, how cool is that?  http://www.youngwriters.co.uk/

The best part about it is that it was something she did at school & we had no idea she had taken part in a competition.  Ashleigh was a runner up in a design a Christmas card one year & her card was in the local paper (E & S) and she got to go & have a look round the ewspaper offices. Isn't it just great! |

I think it's wonderful when they achieve something like that ........ and you can't beat the feeling you get from being a proud parent! |
