FAKE, FAKE, FAKE, lol!!!!!!!!!! I had a real tree once, never again! I was still finding the blasted needles in July (when I stood on them) and the disposing of it was a nightmare. I'll stick to my 6' canadian pine thank you! |

Well as you might remember, I had this dilemma last year. After a lifetime of real trees and being an avid hater of fakes; last year I bought an 8ft fake canadian pine. Verdict??? Best investment ever, it's well made, solid enough to withstand kids and cats - and it looks more real than a real one. AND no endless vacuuming which, with heringbone coir rugs is a huge blessing I can't wait to put it up again this year!!! |

I agree that real trees are messy and you find needles all over the house long after the tree is gone...but ...really, really dislike artificial trees! Tried one once, never again. Real for me! |

Now my real tree hardly lost anything - but didn't bring him into the house till about 10 days before and had cut the bottom off and really soaked him in bucket of water -then put him in a water filled base topped up daily. |

We have just put the tree up in our flat. Its a fake, 3 foot tree! I dont think i could have a real tree coz all the needles would send me mad & Oli picks up anything from the floor and eats it! (so im not sure it would be very safe with my dopey cat around the house!!) Oli hasn't tried to attack it yet, but its only been up for about one hour!! |
