Dandruff free Diva

Some of you may recall me talking about the Diva and her dandruff problem. Well she is very nearly dandruff free now. I tried the evening primrose oil but she wouldnt go near it. Liz had given me some Royal Canin Exogent, I thinnk its called. Anyway its done wonders for her. Her coat has improved enormously, she still craps on the floor, but we cannt have everything now can we

Re: Dandruff free Diva

Honestly, I learn something new so often on this Forum: did not know cats could get dandruff! Glad Eva's is in remission; give her a cuddle from me (if she allows that, you know how Divas can be!)

Re: Dandruff free Diva

I will give her a cuddle from you Dandysmom, but wont pick her up to give it as she simply hates being picked up.
Yup cats can get dandruff, alot of people put it down to the time of year, when there is less humidity in the air. But it can also be a sign of poor nutrition and or poor health. I think in Eva's case it was more about nutrition, not that I feed her badly, just that her metabolism is obviously different to Bernie's and therefore requires a little extra whatever it is for her coat to become glossy again.
