Re: off to have a portrait photo done soon

Cathy - is that one of those prizes where you win the photo session for free and then can chose (and pay for) the prints??

If so - just a word of warning, you can end up spending a lot of money. They have some clever marketing ploys - nothing dodgy, just persuasive, to ensure you buy.

However - it is fun, we did it some 10 years ago and if you get a good photographer than you can end up with some super shots!! I look forward to seeing them

Re: off to have a portrait photo done soon

yola we get 1 free piccy with the option of buying the others, but they cant have what i havnt got can they LOL
think it will just be fun being spoilt. and even with my wedding pics it was done with a pal with his digi cam. so this will be our first ever proffesional pics. all in time for our 7th wedding anniversary.

my SIL (well nearly ) had one of these photo shoots done a few years back, she looked really really good in them, (I think she spent about £600 on the photos though ) go and have some fun and enjoy yourselves
