Well a fun time was had by all this afternoon!

We hadn't told the girls we were going to a cat show so it was a big surprise for them and they loved it.

Here is the 'celebrity' we got to meet, Socks the Blue Peter cat. The girls got to stroke him and are full of 'star worship' now, lol!

Next we have a sphynx. Now my OH hated the idea of these cats, thought they were ugly and bristly looking but after seeing this fella he has changed his mind and now thinks they are sweet.

. This is Rambo!!

This is a little singapura kitten, especially for Eileen

The next two are the lovely Lily and the equally lovely Charlie

And the last one I took was especially for Fran, to let her see her competition

. This little lady is called Sadie and was the best oriental kitten in show.

Blimey, that kitten is almost identical in colouring/pattern to Mildred!!! So that is what she is up against - watch this space

Alex, have you got a show schedule?? If so could you root through it and give me the breed number for that kitten? i.e. it's colour/pattern number it will be something like 38

That little kitten was only 14 1/2 weeks old and she was so sweet. Kept trying to play with the rosette ribbons and climbing all over the cage. very cute.

I didn't get one Fran, but Charlie probably did, she might be able to help you when she comes on. I know it's posh name was something Sheherezade whiich is why she gets called Sadie.

No, her ear set isn't the same as Mildred and her siblings but it would be interesting to know what tabby pattern she is registered as as there are about 4 or 5 different patterns. Mildred is registered as spotted but she clearly is not going to remain spotted so was just interested that's all
