Morning, Just got home from work. Time for a quick coffe before I start the cats.
I've got a lady coming to see me at 9.30 who will hopefully be helping me out with the cats, doing vet trips etc for me.
Also lady viewing Milly & Dennis too. (She may take them today)
I've got another dog here {Eddie} as he needs a home & may be going to live with some friends of mine., so they are coming to see him later....

Busy day Smudgely !!

I've finished the ironing with my superduper iron; in record time Hubby is sorting out a few of the snags in the guest bedroom (which will be the au pairs room) and is going to stake up my golden conifer which is listing slightly due to the high winds.

I'm off to hop in the shower shortly and later will be taking Dominik to a brithday party at one of these awful 'play zone' places (y'know, with all the padding, climbing areas, rubbish food and disinterested staff . . . can you tell I'm looking forward to it) As it's right by the footie stadium I need to check to see if Reading's playing at home - as the party's at 3.30 I'll need to leave extra, extra time if they are

Katy (step daughter) is coming over later with hopefully the disk of Dominik's modelling pictures. I'm quite looking forward to seeing them

Hello folks!

It's a beautiful sunny day here, not a cloud in sight! I went into the garden this morning and it's good to see the bulbs well up and leaf buds shooting on the shrubs already.

Did the trolley dash in Sainsbury's this morning ....... they had loads of offers on, brandy rich mince pies (dated Feb 07) 10p for a box of 6!! They were being snapped up like gold dust......... butter basted turkey breast £1.99 (normally £3.99) ........jars of Pataks curry sauce 68p !!!

Not much going on here today. My back's really bad so stuck indoors. Not very welcoming out anyway.

Hi all,

Been out pottering most of the day, bought a make up product which hopefully will cover up my very very very dark eyes I seem to suffer with - need to try and start sorting them out! The lady was very helpful and it cost me £20.00 LOL - not bad if it works so fingers crossed!

Sunny, cold and very windy: wind chill 28F!! The usual library trip on Saturday, no marketing. Am a tad worried that Onyx didn't come for her tea; she was there for lunch, and she rarely misses a meal, It was below freezing again last night, but she seemed OK at lunch; this is her second Winter here, so guess she's learned to cope, but I do wish I could coax her in!!! They are predicting snow tomorrrow afternoon; oh how I hope they're wrong!!! Have a nice evening, all!

Been out in the garden most of the day doing the Bunny Mansion!! Lovely and sunny but bit chilly. At least there is no bad winds or rain today.

Kids all here this weekend - say all cos Emma's friend seems to have moved in!!! They are all in the dining room playing pool and snooker very nicely together!!
