Daily thread ~ Wednesday

Good morning everyone!

Brrrrrrr .... it's a cold one today! Very heavy frost last night, everywhere looks sparkly white ........... and a heavy fall of snow forecast for tonight! Looks like proper winter is about to start!

Nothing special planned today other than routine jobs......

Stay warm and enjoy your day everyone!

Alex - I hope you have heating with all this upheavel . . . don't let them leave without testing it thoroughly

I have Sebastian's consultant follow up appointment today. I think his behaviour is a bit skewed due to heavy teething/drooling/gnawing . . . still, I have a couple of issues I'd like to discuss with him.

Got a new business presentation out of the blue yesterday (for tomorrow) so have to read up on it a bit today as well as looking further into email marketing (more reading)!

Must dash now to pick up my mini dumb-bells from the John Lewis collection centre and then keep fit will start in earnest

Re: Daily thread ~ Wednesday

Chilly here too but beautifully sunny. The threatened snow doesn't look as though it will appear for a while. It has its good side, as the meeting my OH was due to attend, for the next 2 days, has been postponed. Fair enough there were due to be people from all over England, so i think it's only sensible to put it off while the forecast is so bad.
Went for an early morning sortie to Tesco. Have got the boys a fresh sardine each for their tea, and will report back on that in due course. Looks like I'll be washing the kitchen floor again tonight though
Have a nice day and hope that those who want snow will get it.

Re: Daily thread ~ Wednesday

Morning all, very cold and icy here. The threatened snow didn't arrive but sure it will at some point Water tap is frozen up at the farm so will have to take some water up there for their stables tonight unless it thaws out in the mean time but it really is very very cold and bleak up there
Got to nip out to the bank later other than that just the usual chores around the house etc..

Hope you all have a lovely day and wrap up warm!

Good question Mags - It's not really cold either. I've only just realised that the CH switched itself off at 9am this morning and I haven't felt the need to put it back on since then. I've just lit the fire but only out of habit really.
I do hope the Met Office hasn't gone OTT again
