All schools closed in Dudley BoroughDudley council has closed all the schools in the borough tomorrow on advice from the met office due to severe weather warnings, seems a bit extreme to close them before we have any snow,but they are giving parents warning to make alternative childcare arrangements. My girls are going to come to work with me for the day, as long as the snow isn't too bad & we can drive around.

I hope it's nothing like our February storm last year that practically closed down the East coast...we had 8.8 inches!! Good luck, all! |

Our school has given out a severe weather warning and numbers to call to check if the school is open, but I agree it does seem silly to close before there is a flake of snow!! No sign of snow here yet, just very cold and a hard frost. |

Oh how my kids would have loved that, lol! Tomorrow is their last day anyway as their teachers have a PD day on friday, boo hoo, 10 whole days with my darling daughters at home!!!!! |
