I put 'kalamanca' without the 's' into google and it didn't come up with much, except this: http://www.rspca-tameside-glossop.or...atgallery.html which I assume is your local branch? It does mention them on there, but isn't really much help I'm afraid! |

Got it! What is the origin of these queer expressions I DB BRIGHTWELL. KALAMANCA CAT8.—In Lancashire tortoise-shell cats are called kalamanca cats. I couldn't get the link to copy, but it was in an Amazon book review; found on Google!! Now we know! |
