Morning all, nice dry here today. Off to do the horses after the school run. Got a few bits and pieces of things to do today and some general tidying round and cleaning.

Hope everyone that is unwell, is starting to improve today

Hope you all have a lovely day

Re: Daily Thread / Tuesday

Is this todays thread? Isn't it Wednesday? Oh dear - confused of Dorset here
It's a lovely morning - warm bright and sunny - spring-like, you might say.
Chester is still vomiting , that's 24 hours now, so am off to phone the vet very shortly. They open at 8.30 so I'll let the real emergencies get through now and give a ring in a little while.
Best wishes to the sick people

Sorry you're still feeling pants, Alex . . . hope it lifts soon.

DM - hugs to Chester; didn't realise he was poorly - hope it's nothing.

I went to bed at 8pm last night as I came over very sick n faint. Sebi slept through till 5 and then went back to sleep till 7. I feel much brighter today

Personal trainer at 10am, off to Hobbycaft after for some bits for a creative presentation and then taking Domi for an assessment at his (potential) new school.

Re: Daily Thread / Tuesday

Synulox jab for ?infective gastritis. Course of tabs to start tomorrow, assuming the vomiting subsides.
If vomiting continues gastritis diagnosis to be junked and to be admitted tomorrow for fluids and x-ray.
Starve for (further) 24 hours.
Touch wood, I think the vomiting may be subsiding. He hasn't thrown up for a couple of hours, and has managed a lick or two of water, so fingers crossed it is on the way out.
That sounds a bit dramatic; I don't think it is. Just my vet covering all bases. He couldn't feel anything in his tummy and there is no temperature.

Gosh DM that does sound a bit dramatic. Hoping Chester manages to keep water and medication down. Poor little chap!

Re: Daily Thread / Tuesday

No for about 4 hours now, so am relaxing the tension in my crossed fingers. My vet was just being thorough and also reassuring me that they were prepared and if he didn't improve there was a hospital place ready.

It's the most beautiful day here. Have a bit of 'stuff' still to do, then I think that as long as Ches is still fine Dinah and I will go off somewhere for the afternoon
