Two months old and still full of spit and vinegar :)

The kittens had their two-month birthday 6 days ago, and like a horrible person I'm only just now here to show you how they're all doing

But here you go:

Sashimi will be spayed in the next week or two - she's still nursing every other day or so but neither she nor the kittens are being very hung up about it. She's on the skinny side however, and we're having to feed her separately so she won't just leave the food because the kittens touched it. She's getting there however, so we're all good.

Kobu, our little lion. He's shaping up to become a huge lazy tom, and we love him for it. As soon as you look at him he starts purring more loudly than I've heard any cat do before, and he's all muscle and love

Ke-ki - it's not a good picture of her, but she never sits still! Extremely delicate, clever and evil, she'll give any cartoon mouse a run for its money in the troublemaking stakes. She's an adorable fusspot and never quiet

As you can see Wasabi is growing well, even though he is still the runt. He adores dry food but sometimes he lets himself be hustled away even though nobody's being malicious about it. We're keeping an eye on it, and if it becomes a problem we'll start feeding him separately as we do with Sashimi, but so far it seems to be all right - he can certainly not be said to be weak as we've never seen him lose a playfight!

And our giant fluffybum Sushi, two pictures because one is too cute to give up and the other shows just how hairy she is! She seems to be moulting which is making her look a bit tatty, but she's loving the brush and letting us brush her every day with no issue. I'm glad we started doing that while she was still tiny, now!

So there you go, we have a happy healthy family still
Enjoy!

Noticed you posting in 'piccies' so I've hung about to see the gang! You have been missed
Well - what a lovely family! And one 'cat with paw in electric socket'! - little fluffy Sushi.
Love them all and enjoyed their CVs.

Re: Two months old and still full of spit and vinegar :)

Thanks DM - ruffle Chester gently for me, I hope he gets better soon. Bentley can maybe have slightly firmer snuggles

Thanks, Tilly, and they're not going anywhere. I've adopted too many abused and abandoned cats to let them go. At first a bunch of people we knew well (well, my other half knows well) expressed an interest but for various reasons withdrew... Now there's just no way, we've gotten too attached, unless my disability worsens to the point where it's impossible - but as we're managing to keep a clean, tidy house and care for all of them we're not too bothered. We've even come up with a plan to get them all altered without having to have them all done at the same time (so we don't end up with four poorly just-altered kittens, but also so we don't risk inbreeding).

Edit: Thanks Alex - I don't know about Hippie but I've been feeling a lot more comfortable and happier since the moment we decided they would all be staying with us. And it's not all bad even though our altering schedule means they will all be staying in until 5 or 6 months of age (until every last one has been altered in other words) - we bought two huge bags of Catsan at Pets at Home last time we went and got a free Litterlocker Not bad those! Wouldn't've bought one myself but it's a wonderful free gift and it does work, I highly recommend it for multi-cat households!
Hippie has a really sensitive nose for catpoo, and whenever I've scooped into the Litterlocker (much more convenient than my old scheme of using nappy sacks and then quadruple-bagging before tossing it) he can't smell a thing when he comes into the room.

They have found their way into the pooltable so we had to take the front off it and will have to stop up the holes until they're bigger - but since we have a big homemade tabletop that goes over it it's not so bad and we only have two holes to close off.

I was hoping you were going to say that you were keeping them all as that means lots of photo and a safe home for life.
