A new cat - couldn't resist him!

Look!
Got this beauty in Sweden several years ago but have 'never got round' to putting him up. He's been languishing in the garage.
Isn't he nice and bright and cheery?
Any suggestions for what he could carry for me through the summer - the primrose things won't stay in flower?

No idea what flowers he could hold for you DM, but next time you're in Sweden, do you think you could pick me one of them up, lol! He's fab!!!

Big, bold, bright begonias would look superb in your cat - and against that lovely, neutral-coloured wall

That's so cute! How about a mix of blue lobelia and pink impatiens? Or the little miniature dahlias? Is it, or will it be, in full sun?

It's pretty much due west-facing, so it will get summer sun from just after mid-day. It is warm there, being part of the 'courtyard' bit of the garden - walls facing east, south and west.
Thanks for your suggestions

Geraniums - can't beat red geraniums for the "hot weather" all's right with the world feeling.
You can't judge the size of the holders from the picture but I bet you could tie a couple of 10 or 12" wire baskets to them line with moss and then maybe try a trailing geranium in each holder with a little moss around bottom of the holders so you can't see where the baskets finish...and upright geraniums to finish it off.

Can't beat geraniums I love them and they love shade or sun, or mine do.

Mind you busy lizzies will do the same thing....I've come to love those too.

I love him though DM whats he called, Potsy

Karen
