Daily thread - Saturday - (party day)

Well the big day is here.
20 kids coming to my party at 4pm-7pm, with 10 of them sleeping over! & I did say I wouldn't go on here today

but thought I'd just say hi & bye.

The poorly dog from work has had a good night & is off the drip now & back home.. phew. (no more bad things at work now please)
So I can concentrate on my party, Johns gone shopping, whilst I tidy up & prepare stuff!
My teenage niece is due here anytime, to help out - so we better get this party sorted.....

Morning all! Sun shining here, but I'm feeling very blah! Not sleeping well again, which just puts me in a rotten mood for the rest of the day. Nothing much to report, nothing planned for the day, except have a couple of people coming to collect things I offered on freecycle! Hope you all have a good day and that the sun is shining wherever you are.

Sunshine all the way again here, but a little cooler than the last few days. I am stiff after my 'start of the season' gardening! More pilates required!

Another lovely day and as DM says it is a lot cooler down here in the southern regions.........

Had to make a trip to the Royal Mail offices today to claim a letter..... but that's another story

Afternoon all.
Dull and threatening to rain. Got a new patch on today so may be a bit "away with it" hehe.
Darryle is 16 today. Makes me feel old

. Sean will be 24 this year

. Poor Darryle has had to work but is going out with friends tonight. Gave him some more stuff this morning as he stayed over last night.
Not much happening here (thank goodness)

Oh dear spoke too soon. Darryle has come home from work. They pulled a prank on him and it went down the wrong way. (must be the hormones) he's very upset and is "never" going back! Well until tomorrow anyway!

Hope the party goes well, Smudgley! Sorry you had a poor sleep. Alex, that does sort of ruin the day! Happy birthday to Darryle! Winter has released it's grip here for a bit: sun and up to 63F...snowdrops, crocus and early daffodils are blooming! I am very tired of the cold and snow: it's lovely to get out and see things coming up. Onyx not here at lunch, but food was gone when I took her tea out,,,cats!! Have a nice evening, all!
