Re: Berlin Zoo - polar bear debate...

sorry but I will come out and say, he should of course be allowed to live! how can someone call themselves an animal lover and demand that he be killed? To many so called animal rights people about willing to stick their noses into the stupidest of places! This one really got my back up!

The animal activist claim that he should be killed "because he will be relying on humans" doh aren't all animals in zoos reliant on humans??....stupid people!!

Re: Berlin Zoo - polar bear debate...

Well I will say how I feel about it ! (didnt ya just know I would!) I see it like this. I hate Zoos, i dont like large animals kept in small enclosures for the purposes of public entertainment. I have visited a few zoos this last year and have seen nothing to change my mind.

However! This animal was born in captivity, by the Zoo, its their responsibility to ensure its safety and welfare as they are the ones that allowed it to be born in the first place. Its ok saying it should of been left to die, thats crap, its their job to care for the animals they have and IMO thats exactly what they are doing. Flippin animal rights, more like dictators!
Dawn.

I think the so called animal activists should be ashamed of themselves every animal has a right to a life.... and of course Knut will be reliant on humans for his survival but he was born IN A ZOO for goodness sake they are all reliant on humans for their survival. These people need to concentrate on the wild animals survival and not the domestic born
