I'm fuming at Parcel Force and in the process of writing a letter of complaint to their head office!!
Yesterday when I was out they came to delivery my monthly delivery of cat litter and a box of food, which I buy online. Usually if I'm not home they will leave it with a neighbour or leave a note and re-delivery. However, the bright spark of a delivery man decided that he would throw the package over my back fence into the garden.
Firstly, I have no idea how he managed to do that, given that the package contained 2 bags of 7.5kg Worlds Best Litter and a box of 48 tins of Applaws cat food - weighing more than 15kg in total!!!!!!
Secondly, I have a cat proofed garden, as you know, which can clearly be seen and despite even that he still threw it over the fence. It must have landed in the netting of the catproofing and then he must have pushed it over from there.
The result of this is that 2 of my metal brackets have been snapped and the netting has been pulled out where it was attached to the actual house (by a VERY strong rawplug and screw).
Fortunately it is still "cat proof" but I'm so angry
He clearly had no respect for my property and was just downright lazy in not wanting to come back and re-delivery it another time that I was home.
I'm asking Parcel Force to pay for the repairs and compensate me for the inconvenience.
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!
