Acers/garden pictures & info for Alex

Here you are ladies the Acers are out in force not sure if thats a good thing or not they are about a fortnight early but hey better early than never eh?

Baby Acer - Junior he's a little light green acer he turns orange later in the year, had him about 5 years now he was a single twig and almost dead when he arrived he "recouped" in a pot now he's in the garden he loves it there.

Eric the acer who arrived last year you may remember. He likes where he is now and is doing good.

Ernie who arrived the same time as Eric, a different type and just coming out now he too loves his position.

The Acer he is looking stunning this year better than last I think I am waiting till May June for him to start to shine like last year
Just behind him is Tango the Orange Acer he is about 5 years old now and starting to come into his own in another 5-6 years and he will look stunning behind The Acer. Well I hope so.

A shot from where we sit on the patio how the garden looks from there you can see Eric, Junior, Acer and Tango from here as you see.

Oh and Alex if you look at these the one with Eric 2nd pic down and Ernie in 3rd picture down is my gravel garden idea.
Both are my idea well my version of it; this time last year pic 3 was all slabs this time last year I took them up if you recall, so its less than a year old.
The Sundance "yellow bush" to the left of the Acer I took a couple of "cuttings last year and you can have one if you wish but remember mine is about 10 years old but they do grow quickly never loose their leaves and apart from lighting the garden wiht the yellow/lime green they also flower little white flowers May/June. If you are interested of course. Plus I have a surprise for you if you are interested an Acer?

Karen

Those are stunning trees, Kazz! I only have the one, red in Spring, green in the Summer and an absolutely brilliant scarlet in Autumn! Will take a pic of it for you, also the dogwood, which is just now blooming. Don't you just love Spring?

Me want, me want, me want lol! I think it would just be easier if we swopped houses Kazz, and I can have your beautiful garden to enjoy and you can start from scratch with mine!! I would be very interested in an acer, I think they are beautiful. I love the gravel you have put down but my OH says not a chance lol, he likes the soil look, though he might change his mind when I show him your pics. I'm just in awe with the variety of plants and the gorgeous colours you have their. Stunning!!
