Pregnant cat is caught...The pregnant cat we were trying to catch this week has been caught... long story.... got to go & get her... I'll update you later.... PS she's not a pregnant cat anymore, she's what we call a "mom & 4"

ok I'm back. This lady had a trap a few days ago (Tue) to catch a pregnant black cat that she & a 90 year old neighbour had been feeding. They caught loads of Tom cats, but not the pregnant cat. Yesterday I spoke to her & found out that she'd given birth as the fat belly had gone.  Today the lady found the kittens & set the trap, then put a cardboard box around the closed end of the trap with the kittens in it...(make sense?) So basically Mom could only get to them by going in the trap & to the end. Still couldn't get at them though as they were the other side of the trap in the box?  Anyway it worked Mom went in, the trap went off....off goes Smudgley to collect them. She was thrashing around in the trap like you wouldn't believe, obviously stressed & wanting to get to her babies. I got her home quickly & have put her in a pen with them, she's not fed them yet, but she's really scared. Hoping she'll be feeding them now.They are all strong with fat tummies... all black or B & W again! one Male & 3 females  litter letter ...I think it's W? Midnights must have been V's although we didn't name them or did we? |

Awwwwwwww poor love, what a shame but she does not know how well off she is. She and they are now a Zillion times better ff safe wearm fed and cared for with you than outside. She will settle down now she's got her babies. |

awww poor thing.im glad they are all ok though. What is it with black and white babies at the moment?vicky wants a ginger kitten as well as Fizz but there doesnt seem to be any about. yeah Midnights were v but im not sure if we did name them |
