Plaque OffAnyone use this product? http://www.vetuk.co.uk/index.php?mai...ducts _id=298 My sister says it is great and has made me order some for my crew. You can even get it in human formulation So, although we (well the animals ) are young with sparkly gnashers, I think it's well worth trying, to keep them away from needing dental work when they are older.

Julie's lurcher is only a young thing - 2 I think. He had very bad teeth/breath for a young dog, despite getting a good diet/not having bad things etc. The Plaque Off has made them look and smell much better in a very short time. The stuff is a granular texture - like coarse ground pepper - and you use the tiniest bit. One scoop a day but the scoop is smaller than the smallest salt-spoon you ever saw. I'm sure the cats wouldn't notice the few grains in their food each day. I won't be able to give you any personal testimonials, as the boys are just a year and Dinah is not quite 3 and all have sparkly gnashers. Hopefully the PO will keep them that way And they do tabs for humans too! |

Well, I can't give a definitive reaction, as all my creatures are young (it's just the people who are crumbly in this house!) but I must say that Chester has much more pleasant breath since starting the Plaque Off. Don't know why such a young chap should be a bit stinky .... but it's better. So I suppose that bodes well for the future. No smell = no nasties clinging to the teeth |

Well, OH took Dinah for her booster this morning and (at my request) asked him whether Dinah's teeth were good. The vet agreed that she had very good teeth but added that she should, only being 3. OH said I gave them 'something made of seaweed' and he said the vet's response was Ho Hum, can only speak as I find, and I'm very happy with it. I think it'll cost about a tenner a year for the dog and the 2 cats and that sounds fine to keep them in good oral health. |
