Come dine with me?Okay people. Imagine you werehosting a dinner party. What would your 3 courses be? First Main Dessert? What would or do you cook? Can be anything....let your imagination and taste buds run wild Karen

Well, start with a tossed garden salad and beef consomme, broiled rainbow trout with au gratin potatoes and fresh peas ( if they were fish lovers), if not then roast chicken with potatoes rissole and peas; for dessert chocolate mousse. What woulod your choices be? |

I would be the cook, or my mum!  Starter: Prawn cocktail with wholemeal bread and a slice of lemon. Main: Roast chicken (& homemade stuffing) or roast pork (& apple sauce & stuffing) with roast potatoes, new potatoes, roasted parsnips, butternut squash & sweet potatoes, savoy cabbage and a lovely homemade gravy with bits of stuffing in it. Dessert: Three scoops of sorbet (any flavour!) or fruit filled pavlova or chocolate fudge cake with fresh cream! I couldnt pick one pudding, because I love so many! Listing all that food has made me feel hungry!  |

Think I would do A soup (easy to prepare beforehand) Pan fried pork tenderloin with cream, spinach, roast pepper and goat's cheese sauce - may even add some thick cut chips Spiced Orange Chocolate Cheesecake Made myself hungry now |

Starter - probably a soup or maybe creamy garlic mushrooms on tossed green salad Main - Pork steaks with dill and mustard suace, new pots tossed in herbs and garlic and french beans Dessert - I make a mean sherry trifle and my apple pie isn't bad either... |

Starter ..... probably a prawn cocktail served on a bed of shredded iceberg lettuce and cherry tomatoes with springonions and lemon to garnish. Main... a selection of Pastas and sauces with a large tossed salad and fresh grated Parmesan cheese Dessert.... Hot waffles with sliced banana and a chocolate and toffee sauce served with fresh whipped cream or ice cream |
