Fed Up - Yes Me.

Completely fed up I am on holiday in two weeks 8th June driving holiday up to Scotland the lakes - great first proper holiday, since last year "health" problems. Well what happens, yesterday I fell, bruising my arm badly. Took not much notice, today I almost passed out at work - Yes I went to work complete with wait for it a broken arm - put it correctly a fractured Radius. I've had it plastered, have to go back tomorrow to the fracture clinic, for them to plaster and asess it properly. Have a feeling thats my driving holiday gone for a burton.

So yes here I sit fed up and left arm plastered in an ungainly plaster.

Oh Kazz I'm so sorry that must have been flippin sore!!!

No wonder your fed up. If your holiday was a week earlier you could have got the train up here and stayed with me. OH away from 2nd-9th. I would have looked after you. On the other hand can you work with a broken arm?

Oh Karen, you must be bitterly disappointed I do hope your arm isn't too painful, but I suspect you will be told not to use it at all for certainly several weeks. Maybe you can enlist a tame friend or relative to drive you on your hols

Oh no Kazz ... were you going on hols on your own? Is there anyone you could go with who could do the driving?
Hope you aren't in pain with your arm.

I think it's quite easy Eileen! My Mum fell off the back of a tail-lift lorry (truck) when she was helping me move houe back in 1991 . . . didn't notice the tail-lift was up rather than down and just stepped back off it; she had a sore, swollen wrist for a couple of days. Thought she'd just bruised it, but then went to see the docs (she worked in a hospital), and they diagnosed a badly fractured wrist!! Easy to miss if you don't know what you're looking for I guess
