Hi Caroline I have to agree with Jac. The ragdolls are very laid back and literally flop in your arms hence their names Ragdolls. They have a fantastic temperament and are absolutely gorgeous. Take a look on www.tbrcc.co.uk it will give you all the information you need to know about them I also have to vouch for the BSH they too are very cuddly. I think most cats can be it just depends how they have been socialised as kittens and how much time you spend with them at a very early age. good luck in your quest for a kittie Sarah x |

I have a ragdoll too and she is very affectionate and cuddly - but then so are the others. I think it depends on the personality of the cat and them being used to being handled and socialised from a young age. My dad has a ginger moggy and he is just the most affectionate lap cat going!!! They are inseperable!!! |

I have Orientals, Siamese and moggies. All of them are cuddly lap cats, however, the Orientals and Siamese are not layed back and are very highly strung The most layed back, cuddly lap cat I have is my moggie - Clooney |

My Broxi (moggy) is a very affectionate cat, he loves his pets and cuddles and loves to be carried around the house on my OH's shoulders lol. My other moggy Cooper is very aloof and only comes for a cuddle occasionally. Teddie my exotic shorthair loves to be a lap cat, when SHE wants to be lol! |
