Dandysmom

Excuse me grabbing your attention DM
I was wondering what had happened to the 2 whales which had gone astray up the Sacramento river? Last news item I saw appeared hopeful that they might be heading back out to sea, but never heard the end of the story. Do you know how it ended? (These stories seldom end well, so i will be really pleased if you can tell me they are back in the Pacific)

Re: Dandysmom

They think they're back in the Pacific. They were finally heading down the Sacramento River nearing the sea, and there have been no further sightings. The assumption is that they did make it safely, but they haven't actually been spotted in the ocean. Let's hope it was a happy ending for Delta and Dawn!

We'll probably never really know...the news media has a short attention span!
