For DM - tomatoes, et al

These are my Super Marmande tomatoes... started from seed March 17th. I have three plants.

My hot pepper, Thai Dragon.two small fruits on it....

And the basils. All of these are from seed. I'm looking forward to slicing one of the tomatoes, spreading the slices with minced garlic, shredded basil leaves, and mozzarella cheese and popping them under the broiler....yum!

Looking good and I just love tomato, basil, mozzarella! Tend to eat it cold but adding garlic and grilling sounds good to me.

Your Marmandes are way ahead of mine - just at the first shy flower stage I'm afraid. But they are outside and the weather has been so changeable. I've got the first fruits starting on my Super Fresno chilli.

I also add a sprinkle of fresh ground pepper and a drizzle of olive oil .....only with ripe homegrown tomatoes...wouldn't dream of it with the nasty Winter ones from the market!
