Walk the walk for breast cancer - my 26.3 mile marathon

Well I am back

Had an amazing time. We flew into Edinburgh around 3pm yesterday, had some food in Pizza Hut, then went to the Odeon and watched Oceans 13 ) we did have a lot of time to kill, until 8pm and then we went to the Meadows, to book all of our stuff, in and have some rice or pasta, and got into the general feel of things

The walk started at 11.50pm, me and another work colleague finished at 7.11 am very pleased with that as we were hampered a bit by the slower walkers at the start, our first three miles took us an hour and it should have been a lot lower than that.

Weather was good for the walk, warm with very patchy light drizzle overnight and dry in the morning.

Here are some pics

Me in the middle, Jayne my bosses wife on the left and Luisa my work colleague on the right

Excellent news Emma and very well done.
One of my friends was also on the walk, it was probably her that hampered you at the start .
