How bad do I feel??

3 little kittens have been caged, and they are NOT happy about it . Lots of squealing and clawing trying to get out. Mum isn't in with them as I asked the boss what she thought. She said to leave her out but if she gets upset and wants them to pop her in, but she doesn't seem that bothered to be honest lol! I feel so mean, but my carpet is saturated with kitten wee and I'm just not having that, so until all 3 can use the tray all the time, they will have to stay there!

Now that the kittens are caged Alex, they should soon learn to use the litter tray. No way could you carry on like you were with saturated carpets all the time.

They are probably crying for their mum......I take it you will be putting mum in with them for the night?

Re: How bad do I feel??

Just popped mum in Mags lol! She was sitting crying in front of the cage just now. Was considering putting them back into the shed, but with all the rain it will be quite damp in there, plus it wont help with their socialisation!! Decisions, decisions!!

There is a lot more involved in fostering than you imagine, isn't there Alex! There is nothing worse than hearing little kittens pitifully crying....awwww

Re: How bad do I feel??

How old are the kittens now Alex?

I have never fostered in-house (with the exception of Matilda & her kittens & Midnight & Cara for a few weeks)

My pens were with me within a short time of me contacting CP.

Re: How bad do I feel??

That what I thought Smudgley...almost like a trial by fire I bet they loose a fair few people making them foster indoors.
