Some fauna and flora

This is the double daylily: my Mom had them and when I moved, brought some with me. I've never seen the double variety of the old single one in any catalogue...

Onyx looking to see if she missed any food...she'd grabbed a mouthful as I was scraping it out of the tin, and dropped a bit on the brick wall...

Thanks, Moli! You can still feel her ribs, but she has put on weight a bit and has a lovely glossy coat, although her black has a slight rusty tinge in it. I read that sunshine can do that to black cats.....?

What a beautiful lily Eileen....gorgeous colour!

It looks like that spot is now Onyx's dinner table........it seems like she feels safe with the shrubbery behind her. She is looking really good now and her coat looks plush....

Leo looks very rusty in the sun too, I thought it was because he was getting old...

She will not eat anywhere else, Mags! I've tried to get her to come on the front patio with the intention of gradually moving the plate closer to the porch steps, then on the steps, and then to the porch, but she will go to her feeding spot and, hungry as she is, wait there ! And I don't have the heart not to feed her! Nothing is as stubborn as a stubborn cat!!!
